790R, 701 and Africa Twin DCT Offroad Single Track
A late season ride on, "That 70's Trail" single rack in McLean Creek Alberta. I was on the 790 R, Matt on his Husky 701, Paul on his DCT Africa Twin and Ryan on a KTM 300XC.
T7 and 790-R Offroad Winter Ride
We managed to seek one last ride in on the first snow day of the year. This pretty much ends our local off-road riding until May 2021. It was a fun but challenging day on one of our favorite trail sections.
700 Tenere Near Loop-Out On Steep Climb
London Ridge Trail near Kaslo, British Columbia. Near the end of the trail there is a steep shale climb that requires full commitment to get up. As you get closer to the top, the traction gets better. The bike hooked-up and the front came up.
T7 - KTM 990 Offroad - Koko Claims
Koko Claims is a nasty bit of trail that connects the Elk Valley Highway to the Bull River Forest Service Road near Elkford, BC, Canada. The trail is only 16km long but it's covered in loose rock, rock ledges, and is quite steep in sections. We were told by numerous dirt bikers, quadders, and UTV riders that there was no way you could get an ADV bike up and over Koko Claims going East to West. Challenge accepted! Jordan (KTM 990), Andrew (KTM 500, just along for fun), and I (T7) decided to give it a go. It was a battle but we got it done. I've done tougher more technical trails but the level of suck on this route...
Offroad Exploring on the T7
Fast-paced exploration in one of our local riding areas. There are hundreds of kilometers of old logging and oil exploration roads to explore. Many of them have been used in decades and they're getting very washed out and overgrown. I positively love exploring these types of trails.
700 Tenere & 990s out for a Rip
A Monday night ride in McLean Creek with Jordan and Ryan. We put together a wicked little loop (35km). Perfect for getting your weekday ADV fix.
Enduro X Rock Garden KTM 790 ADV-R
A quick blast through the rock garden at the WildRose MX EnduroCross track on the 790R.
Bike Binderz for ADV Bikes
For several years, Bike Binderz has been making a very cool hold-down system for dirt bikes. They've recently tweaked the design to work with the much heavier ADV bikes. I've had a pair in the Sprinter for a couple months and I have to say, they've been amazing!
