Installation video for Camel ADV's Africa Twin windscreen brace/GPS SAT Nav mount. If you attach your GPS receiver on your Africa Twin's windscreen cross bar, you're likely to crack the welds. Our brace gives you a great place to attach your GPS and piece of mind knowing that you won't have to worry about breaking the factory bracket!

Intro: Africa Twin Windshield Support

Snapped welds on the Africa Twin's windshield bracket are quite common. There's a well placed and perfectly sized metal tube at the top of the bikes windscreen mounting bracket. The issue is that if you mount a GPS to that tube, you're likely to break the windscreen's frame.

Africa Twin Windshield Frame Brace

We're going down the list of Africa Twin issues and trying hard to solve them. As manufacturers try to keep the weight of their bikes as low as possible, some parts end up being a bit lighter duty that they should be. I believe this to be the case with the factory AT windshield frame bracket. Adding a GPS to the cross bar or in some cases, just adding a larger windscreen can cause the welds to crack. Riding on rough roads makes things worse. We're currently testing our windshield brace to make sure it's up to the task before we launch them. Keep an eye out for updates!
