John Frost Everyone I know is running a Camel gut guard on their T7s. I did a full exhaust on my 2023 T7 so I was able to mount the Euro 4 version.

Steven Cline i love it, nice hardware, plenty of instruction for installation with included paper and link to video. (Read and follow the instructions!) and excellent finish. It may be a placebo but i feel it also makes the bike handle a little better too with the added rigidity.

LostBoyMoto Look, I'm not going to sugar coat it. Installation of mine was a bit rough, nothing to do with the skid plate itself. On my 2025 I had to loosen the subframe bolts, which is a problem on the 25' because it pretty much means the removal of both side plastics. which would also not be a big deal if you were not using the Yamaha crash bars like I'm using. It took some time and a few small scratches on my gas tank (I was rushing taking the plastics off without removing the crash bars) but I'm telling you that if you are serious about taking your brand new 2025 off-road, THIS is the skid plate to have. I chose the camel because it's one of the very few that mount directly to the "actual" frame in the rear. I am no longer afraid to lift the bike by the skid plate (against what the manual says) and I have confidence on the trails that this skid plate is the pinnacle of protection when I'm miles deep into the California desert (I'm not here by choice, give me a break). The camel was very well packaged and included all the hardware needed including new skid plate bolts which are both 8mm and torx friendly. Fitment of the rear mount was tight which means their tolerance is dialed in. Stop looking Chinese skidplates and buy a quality part like the Camel which is actually tested by the fine folks at Camel ADV.
