Works very well. Recommend this over cheaper mainland items.

After too many tipovers with my T7, simply because I didn’t have good, stable footing when stopped, I resigned myself to lowering my bike. When I did a search for lowering links and saw that Camel ADV offered them, I looked no further. With a reputation for good design and high quality build, the choice was easy.

The links are easy to install, especially if you have a jack where you raise and lower the bike. Just lift the bike to where the swingarm position puts the least load on the linkage pivot bolts. Pull the bolts out, swap dogbones, and reinstall the bolts. Be sure to grease the bolts and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.

You need to also drop the front by raising the fork tubes in the triple clamps. I raised mine 13 mm from 5 mm above the top clamp, to 18 mm above.

Also note, because the bike sits lower, you will need a shorter kickstand. I ordered the short Camel Toe kickstand at the same time as the links.

I am a 68 year old man with a 30 inch inseam. I found my Tenere too tall and hard to handle. The 20 mm drop was perfect for me. After riding my new Tenere for about a month at stock height, I wanted to have a little more reach to the ground and installed these links. I'm 5'6 at 160lb and couldn't even tippy toe the bike previous to installation. Now I can tippy toe bike when parked and flat foot one side with ease at intersections or when dealing with some gnarly terrain. Another great product and awesome customer service, I emailed a question on a Tuesday night @ 9pm and had an answer back in 10 minutes and that is excellent customer service in my books.
