"The Fix" - T7 Rear Brake Pedal

$169.00 USD

You no longer have to deal with the Yamaha 700 Tenere's mushy rear brake! The Fix brake pedal addresses the OEM pedal issues. Install one on your bike and feel the difference!

The Fix brake pedal has a modified leverage ratio, which activates your rear brake with less pedal travel and less ankle deflection. This results in a crispier, more "sporty" brake feel.

You asked for a Fix version that was compatible with lowered footpegs; well, it's here! Make sure to select "V2" from the drop-down menu on the right side when ordering.

"The Fix" Features

  • Corrected leverage ratio, reducing pedal travel by about half compared to stock
  • Durable 6.4mm thick 304 stainless steel construction
  • Straighter shape to reduce pedal flexing while braking
  • Brass bushings to reduce slop in the pedal main pivot point
  • Grippy, replaceable stainless steel brake tip
  • Offset clevis to correct the master-cylinder pushrod angle
  • Black powder-coated finish
  • Enduro, Street or folding tip options

V1 or V2? Which is for you?

The V1's flatter profile has less flex through the pedal when applied, but it cannot be adjusted low enough to be used with lowered footpegs.

The V2's high OEM-style arch offers plenty of room for adjustment down when using lowered footpegs. The higher arch also means it will flex a bit more when you apply pressure to the pedal.

Both pedals offer the same leverage ratio correction, and both pedals flex far less than the OEM mild steel pedal.

Customers using a bolt-on water pump protector or a skid plate with a protector over the pump should consider the street or folding tip, as part of the tip will be covered with aftermarket water pump protectors.

*Patent Pending*

*The V1 pedal is not recommended for use with lowered footpegs!

100% money-back guarantee. If you still aren't happy with your T7's rear brake after installing "The Fix" send it back for a full refund, no questions asked!

One of the best upgrades

At first, I wasn't sure if the rear brake was that bad. As I rode more it was pretty apparent this was a problem. I was hesitant to purchase this product because of the price. Finally, I was sick of not having a decent rear brake and spent the money. It's been well worth it. I would recommend this to anyone with a Yamaha T7. I would also like to comment on the installation video, it is one of the best and detailed videos I've seen online.

Camel rear T7 brake

The rear lowered foot peg brake pedal is awesome & works way better than the OEM one.
I do have a bone to pick with camel though as I liked your product so much that I thought I would get the side stand bypass plug it was $23 which is ok BUT $35 for postage for something that is half the size of a thumb to Australia bloody rip off !!
So I got it elsewhere for $24 free postage.
Don’t get me wrong camel have great products but definitely need to address this that’s for sure

Hey NW,

Shipping from Canada isn't cheap and shipping to Australia isn't either. We have a dealer in Australia (Advenute Moto) so our AU customers have local buying options with much cheaper shipping options. That been said, shipping costs are automatically calculated so there maybe a glitch with the price that was displayed to you. We'll have a look and adjust if the number isn't accurate.

A must have

By far one of my favorite parts I've put on the T7. Rear brake feels like they should from factory. A great improvement worth every penny.

The Fix is the Fix.

Excellent product; I was skeptical but went for a two-hour ride and had zero issues.
