The new Kove 450 Rally is a bad-ass bike! If you're using it in a rally setting, the OEM carbon fibre skid plate will be an excellent choice. If you're using your bike for enduro or light ADV, the OEM plate's strength can be a bit lacking.
Constructed of 3/16" (4.75mm) aluminum, Camel's Gut Guard skid plate is light and durable (we've tested the sh*t out of this thing!). All the joints are welded inside and out, and the whole unit is powder-coated for a great look. The skid plate attaches to the frame using 3/16" stainless steel brackets.
We've incorporated an ultra-durable UHMW (replaceable) suspension linkage guard to the bottom of the skid plate. We've also added a stainless steel exhaust guard to protect the header from damage. You can glide over rocks, roots, and stumps without damaging the low-hanging shock linkage or header tube!
Compatible with the standard and Pro model. If you're using it with the Pro model, you will not be able to use the skid plate mounted water tank.
