forrest caron What convinced me to purchase this kit was was the over all quality and the Galfer steel braided brake lines. During the install, I was concerned about the possibility of a difficult brake bleed, because one of the brake lines wrap around the head tube. It turned out to be a non-issue. I used a standard ( A.K.A. Harbor Freight special) MightyVac to successfully bleed the system. The lever squeeze is noticeably firmer over stock from the steel reinforced lines! The Polisport Supermoto fender that is recommended is spot on! I made a tiny modification( drilled a bigger hole) on the fender mounting plate to extend the range of the front fender by about an inch. This gave some much needed clearance between the radiator and the nicely ventilated tail portion of the fender. The video is a bit misleading by telling you that it is too time consuming to move the radiator. IT IS NOT! I found that by removing the overflow tube and electrical connector next to it, you can easily drop the radiator 2-4 inches to gain access for the brake line removal. There are two bolts on the bottom of the rad, and two holding the upper bracket. Once theses are out, the plastic tabs can be flexed to allow the radiator to drop yet still be held up by the main hoses. The main reason this great kit doesn't get a five star rating is because the kit left one front brake line sock. If they would have included, or gave an option, to add a steel braided line from the master cylinder to the frame, it would be a complete steel braided front system.

Dan VanDenheuvel So, I was looking for an extension kit that raises the stock fender like I did on my AT but couldn't find one so I ordered a cheap one off ebay for an AT but the brake hose was a little too tight and the rear of the fender was still too close to the tire, so as soon as I saw this was in stock I jumped on it. I wasn't really expecting to like the looks that much, but going with the fender that Camel recommends, I think it looks great. I was a victim of mud locking up my front tire on a cb500x a few years ago, so I was definitely going to do something, and this worked out better than expected. There were no instructions in the box, but I just followed the video and wasn't bad at all of an install. So far the radiator hasn't gotten much dirtier than with the stock fender. Overall I really like it and would recommend it.
