Our  KTM 790ADV and Yamaha T7 1 Finger Clutch kits have been some of our best-selling products. We've been swamped with requests for a similar kit for the most popular adventure bike in history, the Kawasaki KLR 650!

Unlike the KTM 790 and Yamaha T7, the KLR's clutch arm is welded to the clutch shaft. We had to design and produce an all-new arm and shaft. We're thrilled with the finished product, and you will be too.

The kit includes the following:

  • Extremely tough 4340 steel shaft
  • Stainless steel clutch arm 
  • Powder-coated, TIG welded, stainless steel cable guide
  • Stainless steel clevis, clevis pin, and cotter pin

2022 KLR650 1 Finger clutch

Huge improvement in total weight and friction zone. Quality components and straight forward install. Only concern is I am towards the end of cable adjustment with this set up.

Makes a big difference!

I was doing a long of training of slow speed and technical skills with my KLR. At the end of a longer session, my wrist would be toast and riding home became uncomfortable. I installed the one finger clutch and the difference is night and day. The riding experience is that much better. I had a slight install issue with mine. Cory over at ADV was quick to respond to my questions, and even though we found a solution, he went a new one anyway. I will return to Camel for anything I can for my KLR

Total game changer for the clutch

The 50% increase in friction zone is a big improvement. Overall makes the clutch way easier to use.
Also made hill starts way easier.

Excellent upgrade!

Product works as advertised, improves the clutch and adds more range to the engagement.
Very easy to install.
Be aware that the new shift arm does NOT sit flush against the case.
There is a rubber sleeve on the shaft that makes the height the arm should sit. The rubber sleeve does NOT go inside the case. Took me 3 tries to figure that out.

Just what I was looking for.

Clutch engagement on a KLR is such a "light switch" - On or Off. Was looking for something to spread that friction zone out a little, this did the trick.... With the added benefit of a lighter clutch pull for the slower, more technical riding without the hand cramp. I find myself not stalling the engine as much in the slow stuff. Quality of product was top notch, I will never worry about it failing on the trail. - Thanks Camel ADV.
