The Fix brake pedal has a modified leverage ratio, which activates your rear brake with less pedal travel and less ankle deflection. This results in a crispier, more "sporty" brake feel.

V1 or V2? Which is for you?

The V1's flatter profile has less flex through the pedal when applied, but it cannot be adjusted low enough to be used with lowered footpegs.

The V2's high OEM-style arch is for riders using LOWERED FOOTPEGS. If you have lowered footpegs or are planning to use them, this is the pedal for you. 

Both pedals offer the same leverage ratio correction, and both pedals flex far less than the OEM mild steel pedal.

great update for any T7

This makes the brake on the T7 feel like it should. Finally feels like you don't have to stand up and use your heel to get some brake feedback. I love it and the install was pretty straight forward and easy. Thanks guys for some solid engineering and a high quality product!!

“The Fix” Brake Pedal

So far I like the brake pedal a lot. It was a fairly easy straight forward install. The only criticism I would have is that the pedal isn’t folding like the stock one. I know Camel makes one, but it’s more expensive and was out of stock when I ordered mine.

Just get one!

I've had my 2003 T7 for two years and tried all the other stuff first: Raise the brake pedal, bleed the system, change the brake pads. None of them made much difference. I didn't realize just how awful the T7 brake is till I recently bought a 2007 DR650 and couldn't believe how much better the brake works on that bike. Finally went ahead and put "The Fix" on (which was very easy to do). I didn't want to pretend that it helped since I spent the money but...YES! YES! YES! it really makes a huge difference with way less travel. Just the weight of my toe is all you need rather than mashing your foot on the pedal like your stomping a cock roach. This wouldn't help Camel but why can't Yamaha simply do it correctly from the start/stock? Thanks Camel!

Just like the name says

Just like the name says,this is the “fix”.
The stock brake had a ridiculously long travel before you get any braking action. Mushy is the word.
The Camel version is the way it should be from the factory. Short travel with good feel.
