Just a leisurely ride in McLean Creek, AB with a couple guys (Jordan and Ryan) that I recently met on KTM 990s. We realized that Ryan bought my old 990 that I had sold to a local dealer last fall, small world. It was a full day ride but these are the first three challenging sections. My good friend Pat and I went for a ride in McLean Creek, AB. We tackled a steep, rutted, rooty, rocky hill climb with a few rock ledges that I've been eyeing up for a while, it didn't disappoint! We'll be back to try again. Up is up but I won't be satisfied until I get a nice clean run in! Pat (a GS Trophy rider, former Canadian cross-country champion and an ISDE veteran) was on my KTM 790R and I was on the T7. He is the one that got me started down this path of doing stupid sh&t on ADV bikes when I met him in 2012 at a bike event in British Columbia.

I find the T7's 1st gear a bit fast during technical riding. The bike has loads of low-end grunt and a lot of stall resistance but it's a bit fast at idle in first. We swapped from the stock 15T countershaft sprocket to a 14T.
