T7 Minimalist Rear Cargo Rack

From the factory, the Yamaha T7 has no place to carry anything. They included four cargo lashing points but no cargo plate of any kind. Even rackless luggage is difficult to mount on this bike as there are no rear tie-down points.

We wanted to make a minimalist, low-profile cargo plate that added was just big enough to carry your tool kit or day pack without being too bulky. Also, it acts as a lashing point for rackless soft bags such as the Mosko Moto Reckless line or the Giant Loop type luggage.

Our Minimalist rack mounts using the rear two threaded subframe mounts (on the side of the bike) and two down to the back of the subframe. To access the rear mounting points, drilling is required but we include a step drill bit to ensure an easy installation.

Your kit includes:

  • TIG-welded, powder-coated, 11ga, 304 stainless steel cargo rack
  • Aluminum thread couplers
  • Aluminum spacers
  • Stainless steel fasteners
  • Step drill bit

 

This cargo rack is not intended to be used with "top box" type luggage or fuel cans over 1 gal (4L)! Recommended weight limit 10lbs (4.5kg).

Perfect for my Rides

Fantastic rack!

While it is truly a minimalist design, it serves its purpose well. I wanted something that wasn’t bulky or that it would get in the way of the beautiful bike lines. (Yeah, I’m one of those that loves to admire his bike) This is just perfect for the 20-30lbs bags that sit on top of the seat and partially on the tail.
Installation was not a problem at all. All done within the hour.

Great little piece

After finding out about Camel being a local parts manufacturer to me, I was eager to try out some T7 specific products. So far, nothing has disappointed! Excellent installation videos and product quality/detail. This rear rack included.
