The Gen 2 Gut Guard is beefier than the original and has several upgrades (but is still the same price)! This new unit is compatible with the 2019-2023 KTM 790 and 890 ADV and the Norden 901. 

The Gen 2 Gut Guard has the same top-shelf protection as the original and is available with aluminum fuel tank lobe protectors for ridiculous durability. This thing is a beast!
The Tank lobe protectors are NOT compatible with the Norden 901!

Constructed of 3/16" (4.75mm) aluminum, the plate is extremely stout (we've tested the sh*t out of it). All the joints are welded inside and out, and the whole unit is powder-coated for a great look. The rear of the skid plate attaches with a beefy 3/16" (4.75mm) stainless steel bracket that mounts to the frame for ultimate strength and engine protection.

The tank lobe protectors are available separately and they are compatible with our Gen 1 Gut Gaurd skid plate.

790 gut Guard

This is now the second order from camel for my 790. All the parts have been very high quality.
The skid plate not only looks tough, it also looks great. It’s kind of a shame that I can’t wait to smash it over logs and rocks ;)

Excellent!

I couldn’t be happier with it.

Install was very straightforward. It went on with no issues. I’ve never had a skid plate go so quick and easy before.

The design is excellent. Very solid attachment points, the two piece design is well engineered and solid, and the overall strength and rigidity should easily stand up to anything I can put it through. Looks great too.

Best Option

This skid plate is the best option out there. Some offer more protection but in my opinion are too bulky. This one also has the footpeg mount enhancement which is critical. Looks good, fits good, light weight and easy installation (great video on this). I was a little concerned about shipping from Canada but as it turns out this was a non-issue. I really like supporting a small company like this and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Great Quality, Great Design

Great video and instructions. 30 minute install. Great design that will protect the motor from impacts as it does NOT attach to the motor. Protects the whole underside of the bike. Usual great Camel quality.

Recommended.
